This trident necklace is so gorgeous in person. Definitely makes a statement. Would make a great piece for the nautical enthusiast, merman or mermaid.

A beautiful and ornate trident is the focal of this necklace. The pendant is made from brass in the US. The trident lays in a hand sculpted pendant made from polymer clay. The pendant is signed on the back with my initials MZ.

I painted, distressed and antiqued parts of the pendant for a rustic and weathered look. The pendant measures about 2 inches by 1.5 inches.

On the inside of the pendant, I painted a beautiful seascape and gave it an underwater effect glossy finish. Two tiny real seashells keep the trident company.

The trident hangs from a gorgeous brown suede cord. The cord doesn't have a clasp, so you can tie it as long or as short as you wish. The cord is 30 inches long.
